Suicide Prevention Alliance offers a variety of awareness and intervention training programs to community members, businesses and behavioral health providers. These programs increase chances of preventing suicide.

INTERVENTION

Question-persuade-refer (qpr)*

Learn the 3 simple steps to help save a life. This course focuses on recognizing the warning signs of suicide, and trains participants to ask the question, gently persuade, and refer a person at-risk to get help.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)*

In this course participants learn how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Participants obtain the skills necessary to reach out and provide initial help and support.
8 hours | $25

Applied suicide intervention skills training (asist)*

This evidence-based training program provides professional caregivers, mental health providers, and community members with high-level, intensive intervention skills. Graduates are certified by LivingWorks.
